The core of this project is the implementation of an web-based application that would help demographers, historians, etc., to understood what happens in terms of demographical studies from the year 1453 to 1905 at Barcelona. The application is divided into different parts. One is dedicated to the transcription of the different volumes at line level, without any kind of information related to the marriage record. In a second step, the marriage records are filled to a template containing information on the husband, and his parent and the wife and her parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally to the functionalities that could be used by demographers some functionanlities to the field of Document Analysis have been added to the application. They allow to generate a powerful groundtruth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
